Most counselling sessions are one hour. The first visit may be longer (one and a half to two hours) if there is more than one family member attending the session or if the counsellor needs to collect additional information. The suggested length of treatment can be discussed with your therapist.

Services are provided on a fee-for-service basis. Many company Health Insurance Plans, Employee Assistant and Extended Healthcare Plans provide coverage for Psychologists and Psychotherapists. If you were injured in an accident or your workplace, the government or your automobile insurance company may offer to pay for your sessions.
